The Kitikmeot West Land Use Region includes communities of Bathurst Inlet, Bay Chimo, Cambridge Bay and Coppermine and every parcel bearing codes: BB, CB or CO.
Upon ratification, title vests in the DIO to at least 66,390 square kilometres (approximately 25,635 square miles), consisting of at least 9,645 square kilometres (approximately 3,724 square miles) in fee simple with minerals, and approximately 56,745 square kilometres (21,911 square miles) in fee simple saving and excepting minerals.
