SCHEDULE 19-5: LAND QUANTUM: KITIKMEOT EAST LAND USE REGION

The Kitikmeot East Land Use Region includes communities of Gjoa Haven, Pelly Bay and Spence Bay and every parcel bearing codes: GH, PB or SB.
Upon ratification, title vests in the DIO to at least 36,970 square kilometres (approximately 14,275 square miles), consisting of at least 1,500 square kilometres (approximately 580 square miles) in fee simple with minerals, and approximately 35,470 square kilometres (13,696 square miles) in fee simple saving and excepting minerals.
