Inuit Training Programs

The Department of Inuit Training Programs (Makigiaqta Inuit Training Corporation) oversees funding and other supports for training and initiatives to provide skills and qualifications to enhance the preparedness of Nunavut Inuit for government and other employment. The department ensures that the commitments to full representative levels of Inuit employment workforces are being effectively met, and works closely with various stakeholders on how Nunavut Inuit can be prepared for employment.
