Self Determination

The Department of Self Determination explores a full range of issues and options related to Inuit self-determination, including the outreach, negotiation and potential implementation of self-government agreements. The department liaises between NTI's departments, Regional Inuit Associations, the Government of Nunavut, Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami, the Government of Canada, communities and other stakeholders, and monitors medium and long-term policy trends and issues of concern to NTI.
