NTI Election for Vice-Presidents – 2026 – Notice of Election – Unofficial Candidates

Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. (NTI) Chief Returning Officer, Monica Ell-Kanayuk, announced that
NTI’s nomination period for the election of two Vice-Presidents closed at 5 p.m. today local time.
The following candidates submitted papers in accordance with NTI’s Election Rules and
Procedures for the Election of Vice-Presidents. Below is the unofficial list of candidates:

Robert Bourassa
Paul Irngaut
Adamee Itorcheak
Aaron Aopaloktok Pedersen
 

Candidates have until Monday, November 9, at 5 p.m. local time to withdraw their papers.

Voters have five ways to vote in NTI’s election for Vice-Presidents: Advance Polls on Monday,
December 7, 2026, Election Day on December 14, 2026, by mobile poll, proxy vote or mail-in
ballot.
