NTI Announces Official Results for the 2024 Presidential Election

(December 10, 2024 – Iqaluit, Nunavut) Today, Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. (NTI) Chief Returning Officer Monica Ell-Kanayuk announced that Jeremy Tunraluk was elected as President of NTI with 34.4% of votes.
Jeremy Tunraluk will serve as President for a four-year term, until December 2028.
The NTI President is a core member of NTI Board of Directors and Executive Committee, as well as the Chairperson, Director and/or Trustee of the following entities and organizations:
Nunavut Tunngavik Foundation:
Delivering programs related to promoting Inuit languages, culture and healing from residential schools Makigiaqta Inuit Training Corporation: Delivering programs related to Inuit training and education
NTI Economic and Social Initiatives Inc.:
Holding company for Atuqtuarvik Corporation that providing financing for Inuit Firms
Nunavut Social Development Council:
Established under Article 32 of the Nunavut Agreement
Nunavut Elders Supplemental Trust:
Providing a monthly payment to Elders from NTI’s portion of resource royalties, a program called Uqqujjait Innarnut
Nunavut Inuit Resource Revenue Trust:
