Chief Returning Officer Announced Names of Candidates
(November 9, 2010 -- Iqaluit, Nunavut) Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. Chief Returning Officer Lori Idlout announced the names of the official candidates running for the president and two vice-president positions at NTI.
The president and two vice-president positions will be elected to the NTI Board of Directors. After the election, the NTI Board will assign the successful vice-president candidates either the role of Chair of Nunavut Social Development Council or Chair of Inuit Wildlife Advisory Council.

are all official candidates in the election for the two vice-president positions.
Inuit who are Canadian citizens, 16 years of age or older, and enrolled under the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement are eligible to vote in the upcoming election.
Elections for the vice-presidents are scheduled for Dec. 13, 2010. Voters can head to advance polls Dec. 6, 2010, and can also vote by proxy.
